All Aboard a POV Drive Around Canyon Roads in a Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

We are truly blessed with the technology of our days. You can experience how it feels like to drive a car that you’ve been dreaming about from the comfort of your home. And that works on multiple levels. You may not have the budget to actually buy one, or maybe you’re considering a purchase but you need to get a better feel of things.

POV videos such as this one can really serve as a tool for anyone looking to experience something that they maybe couldn’t in the past. It would definitely be even better if you could do it in VR, but we aren’t going to complain about it given the fact that it doesn’t generate any additional costs, and it doesn’t require you to get out of your chair.

The car on display for today is the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. While the entry level Ford Mustang starts at $26,670, you’re going to have to pay more than twice for a Shelby model. Ford is currently offering a selection of 3 vehicles, including the Shelby GT350, the Shelby GT500 and the Shelby GT350R.

While the GT 500 packs the biggest punch of them all, with 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft (847 Nm) of torque being developed by the Supercharged 5.2-Liter V8, the GT350R is still the most expensive of the bunch, with MSRP starting at $73,435.

The car on photos while not the top of the range vehicle available, is still pretty impressive on its own, with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 under the hood that can send 526 horsepower to the rear wheels. With a weight of 3,703 lbs (1,679 kg), the Shelby GT350 can launch from a standstill to 60 mph (96 kph) in just 4.2 seconds.

The driver gives us a tour of the vehicle, and it does looks amazing in that Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue Tape Stripes. We get a quick glimpse of the engine compartment, and then witness a spirited launch and drive around some canyon roads, just the type of driving you’d expect to see with a car like this one.
